It is wrong to video people while ministering healing

Written by Doug Collins

Don't video people while ministering healing. Give them privacy.

You shouldn't keep the camera on their faces and speak out their fear or the fact that they're crying over being touched or healed by Jesus. The point is to bring them under the wings of The Most High God. Just saying, they need a private moment after without the constant camera in their faces. Jesus still freaks people out who live unsuspecting of HIS GREAT POWER. It's a good thing. Keep up the good work though.

Making disciples means showing people what and how you live as a disciple.

Jesus commands us to make disciples.  Not just the evangelist, but all of us.  So teaching others is part of fulfilling this command.  That means we need to share whats happening so others can learn.  Only about 10% of what we do ever gets on video and its only with their permission before filming.  I wish I could share with you the emails I get every week of how this channel has inspired people to start demonstrating Jesus love through healing and how people have successfully been making disciples.  There are now pockets of disciples all around the world doing what we teach on this channel for the glory of our MOST AWESOME LORD JESUS.  I don't know your situation, but typically when I ask a Christian if they are currently making at least one or two disciples they look at me with a blank stare.  Then they quickly think of an excuse why they aren't making disciples even though the Lord commands this in the great commission.  It's not your fault though, the church system has taught people to be spectators, and instead of doers the WORD, they sit and listen and say "Oh wow that sermon was anointed" or "I don't think so and so is walking in their anointing (meaning the sermon wasn't so good)".  Of course the pastor will tell you to implement what you learn but the entire system is setup in complete contradiction.  People come in and sit down, looking up to a stage, where the musicians play, the pastor speaks, etc.  Did you know the first church building was built for 250 years after Jesus died!!  The church as not an institution it was a people, a group of disciples.  Each disciples making more disciples as they shared Jesus.  It grew so fast that Constantine had to eventually make it a state  religion to get ahead of it.  In doing so he subjugated people under a hierarchical  priesthood that Jesus had just died to free us from.  He became the high priest for all of us and made each of us a priesthood.  What you are seeing on this channel are people going back to the days of acts, but we use video recorders and the internet, our tools of today, instead of writing stories as they did in those days.  Anyway I hope this helps you understand why we do what we do.  God bless!  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  Matthew 19-20

Miracles should be done in private

Miracles are not meant to be a show.  Their purpose is to show the love of Jesus.  Therefore they should be done in private.

Jesus, Peter, Paul and all the disciples did miracles publicly

Not only were the miracles done publicly. They were written about. They bring glory to Jesus and show his love for people. We see passages like this in the bible:

6 When the crowds heard Philip and saw the signs he performed, they all paid close attention to what he said. 7 For with shrieks, impure spirits came out of many, and many who were paralyzed or lame were healed. 8So there was great joy in that city.
